Have you had a hard time thinking of blog post ideas? No worries all bloggers have been there. Here are some great ways to help you think of new and fresh content for your blog. To think of new ideas to blog about you need to immerse yourself in your market. Read other blogs, watch videos, attend live events, meet with people, webinars etc.

I am not saying to rip off content for other creators that is just wrong and illegal. But almost everything you are going to talk about it has already been published in some shape or form. The trick is taking that content and making it original from you. Put your spin on it. Everyone has their own styles and techniques so making it your own shouldn’t be hard at all.

Another great way to come up with content for your blog is to attend training’s whether they are free or paid training doesn’t matter. Use what you’ve learned in that training for your own business to see the results that you generate. You then have real experience on the subject and you can talk about what worked for you, what didn’t, what you changed etc. Then write a post or make a video on your results and how that training helped your business. Remember to always give credit where credit is due so, if a training worked for you and you write about it make sure to mention the trainer and maybe a link to their site.

One of the best ways I generate ideas for my blog is webinars. Webinars are jammed packed with information even if they are solely around one subject you can end up making 2-3 posts from it. I attend a free training webinar every Wednesday at 9:00 pm EST and learn so many new things. You can join me on that webinar every Wednesday by signing up here for free.

Blogs are a fantastic way to find things to write about. Find leaders in your niche and follow them on twitter, Facebook etc. and also visit their blog daily not only to find new blog ideas but also to learn. After all, we can’t help teach what we don’t know right? You can learn so much from other people in your industry and take bits and pieces of information from multiple sources to make a great post.

Networking is key in this industry, after all, it’s all about building relationships. That doesn’t go for just you and your customer/client/prospect etc. That goes for marketers as well. Find a marketing support Facebook group or a blogging support group and bounce ideas around with other people in the industry. Teach others ideas and also learn new ones yourself. Blogging is difficult alone. You need those resources and connections to help you grow as a business person and also to help make your content relevant for your market.

Here is a list of resources I use to help me generate ideas.
